    Manicotti Florentine


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 (10oz) pkg frozed chopped spinach, thawed and drained
    • 1 cup cottage cheese
    • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
    • salt to taste
    • pepper to taste
    • 2 cups tomato or spagetti sauce
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 1 (8oz) pkg manicotti pasta
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


    Instructions


    1. preheat oven to 375
    2. In a lg bowl combine spinach, cottage cheese, & ricotta cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste. Blend well.
    3. Combine 1 cup tomato/spagetti sauce and water together. spread evenly into a 9x13 baking dish.
    4. Using a tsp, stuff each shell (uncooked) with equal amounts of the cheese mixture and place stuffed shells into baking dish.
    5. Pour remaining cup of spagetti sauce over the top of pasta.
    6. Cover with foil and bake inpreheated oven for 50 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake for an additonal 10 min or until cheese is melted.
    7. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
