    Rolls and Cinnamon Rolls

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg yeast
    • 4 Tbls sugar
    • 6 cup flour, sifted 3 times (may not use it all)
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 2 cup milk
    • 4 Tbls oil
    • For Cinnamon Rolls:
    • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • Brown sugar
    • Cinnamon


    Instructions


    1. Mix milk and sugar. Scald and cool
    2. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk
    3. Add oil and 3 cups flour. Beat until perfectly smooth
    4. Add remaining flour to make a firm dough.
    5. Let rise 30-45 minutes.
    6. For Rolls:
    7. Shape into balls the size of walnuts.
    8. Cover and let rise.

    9. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
    10. For Cinnamon Rolls:
    11. Roll out dough and spread with butter
    12. Cover with brown sugar and cinnamon
    13. Roll up jelly roll style from short side
    14. Cut into 1" slices
    15. Put in pan. Sprinkle with extra brown sugar
    16. Pour heavy whipping cream over rolls to a depth of 1/4"
    17. Let rise until light
    18. Bake 350 degrees 20 minutes or until golden brown
