    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 t. cream of tartar
    1/3 c. water
    2 egg whites, unbeaten
    3 sq chocolate

    Recipe



    In top of double boiler combine sugar, cream of tartar, water and egg whites. Set over bottom of double boiler which contains boiling water, beat constantly with egg beater till frosting stands in peaks (about 7 minutes). Melt chocolate. Cool, fold carefully into frosting. Frost cake between layers, on sides and top. Cut thin shavings from warn, unsweetened bar of chocolate to make "curls" on top of cake.
