    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    5 T. water
    1 t. vanilla
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 t. Baking Powder
    1/4 t. salt

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 375.
    Line a greased jelly roll pan, 10-15-lin., with greased paper.
    IMPORTANT: use rotary beater through entire mixing.

    Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored. Gradually beat in sugar, water and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and beat into egg mixture all all at once. Beat only until smooth and well blended.
    Bake 12-15 minutes. Turn upside down immediately on sloth sprinkled with confectioners sugar. Remove paper and cut edges off cake so that it will not split when rolled. Spread immediately with jar or jelly or any desired filling. Roll up beginning at short end, quickly and carefully, wrapping in towel until cool (at least 1/2 hour).
