    1 egg
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 t. soda
    1 t. vanilla
    1/2 t. salt
    1/2 c. sour milk
    1/2 c. hot water.

    Recipe



    Put in pan as given. Do not stir until the last has been added. Then beat well and bake.
