    This recipe sounds just like a salad that Jamie & Randie's grandmother used to make all the time and I just loved it. But I could never get mine to taste like hers. I'm hoping, with this recipe, maybe now I will be able to make the salad that Angie used to make.

    List of Ingredients




    1 bunch Leaf Lettuce, torn (not Iceburg)
    6 - 8 Radishes, thinly sliced
    4 - 6 Green Onions with tops, thinly sliced

    Dressing:
    4 - 5 Bacon Strips
    2 T. Red Wine Vinegar
    1 T. Lemon Juice
    1 t. Sugar
    1/2 t. Pepper

    Recipe



    Toss lettuce, radishes & onions in a large salad bowl; set aside. In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove from heat. Remove bacon to paper towels to drain. To the hot drippings, add vinegar, lemon juice, sugar & pepper; stir well. Immediately pour dressing over salad; toss gently. Crumble bacon and sprinkle on top.

    Number Of Servings: 6-8
