Banana Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

List of Ingredients




1 cup soft margarine
1.5 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
2.5 cups (3-4) ripe mashed bananas
3 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
300g pkg semi sweet chocolate chips


Recipe




-heat oven to 350'C
-cream margarine and sugar together
-add eggs - beat till smooth
-add bananas and vanilla - beat till smooth
-sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder.
-add to banana mixture alternately with sour cream.
-pour half the batter into a 9x13 greased cake pan
-mix brown sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle half over batter, top with half the choc. chips.
-repeat layers. (I just mix the choc. chips into the batter and put brown sugar mix on top of cake!)
-bake 45-50 minutes

-put on top of cookie sheet in case of overflow
