    Fruit Cocktail Cake

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup white sugar
    2 cups flour
    1 can fruit cocktail and juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp.baking soda
    2 eggs
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    3/4 cup canned milk
    1/4 cup margerine
    1/4 cup coconut
    1 tsp.vanilla
    1/4 cup chopped walnuts

    Recipe

    Sift flour, sugar, baking soda together into mixing bowl. Add eggs and fruit cocktail, mixing well. Pour into 9x13 inch oblong cake pan. Sprinkle brown sugar over cake batter in pan. Bake at 350 degree for 40 minutes. When cake is done remove from oven and top with a mixture of canned milk and margerine. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add coconut, vanilla and chopped walnuts. Spread on cake while still quite warm. This is very good and doesn't need frosting.
