Lemon Yogurt Cake

1 cup butter
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup lemon juice
grated zest of 1 lemon
LEMON GLAZE:
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 °; cream butter and sugar until fluffy and
light.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients and slowly beat into butter mixture,
alternating with the yogurt, lemon juice and zest.
Pour into greased and floured pan.
For Glaze: cook ingredients for 10 - 15 min or until it becomes
syrup. Pour over warm cake. Bake: 350 Time: 50 min.
