Another very moist cake. The name of this cake kind of turned me off,,,but it is delicious
List of Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 can (10 oz) condensed tomato soup
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup walnut pieces
1 2/3 cups flour
1 tsp. each-cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in a small amount of hot water
Cream Cheese Icing:
1-3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Recipe
Cake: Cream butter, add sugar, egg, and soup. Add flour and spices and soda mixture. Fold in floured raisins and walnuts. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes or until cake tests done. Ice.
Icing: Soften cheese with milk, gradually beat in icing sugar, add vanilla. After icing the cake, place in the fridge to set icing.
