    I want to make this for Chistmas. Easy enough recipe.

    List of Ingredients




    4 tsp. salt
    10 cup shredded carrots
    10 cups shredded potatoes
    10 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 lb. mixed peel
    5 cup sugar
    10 cup raisins
    10 cup flour
    5 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. clove
    1 lb. melted butter.

    Recipe



    Mix all together. Put into jars and only fill 1/2 full. Process in boiling water bath for 3 hours.

    Note: Fill 1/2 full because the baking soda makes the pudding rise to the top of the jars.
