List of Ingredients
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. margerine
1 egg yolk and milk to make 2/3 cup.
Blend as for a pie crust. Roll out 1/2 of the dough to fit cookie sheet. Sprinkle with one cup of cornflakes that have been crushed, cover with 6 sliced apples. Sprinkle with 1 c. sugar and 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. Rollout 2nd half of dough. and put on tops sealing edges. Brush stiffly beaten egg white overtop of crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. or til golden brown. When cool glaze.
Glaze: 1/2 c. icing sugar
1-2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
