    This soup is nothing but delicious. A nice hearty meal to serve on a cold winter day.

    List of Ingredients




    6 c. water
    6 beef boulion cubes (or tbsp)
    28 oz. canned mashed tomatoes
    10 oz. tomato soup
    2 c. shredded carrot
    2 c. shredded potatoes
    1 1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. pearl or pot barley
    6 c. water
    1 tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    3 c. cooked beef, cubed
    Dry Alphabet noodles

    Recipe



    Heat first amount of water and buollion cubes in large pot. Stir to disolve. Add remaining ingredients, except beef. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer slowly for 1 1/2 hours. Add beef and simmer 1/2 hour more. Makes 22 cups.
