    3 c. sliced onions
    2 cans beef broth (bullion)
    1 1/2 cup water
    2 thin slices french bread, toasted
    grated parmasan
    2 tbsp. margerine
    1 tsp. worcheshire

    Recipe



    In covered large pan, cook onions in margerine over low heat, about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add consomme and worcheshire sauce. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Place 1/2 slice toasted bread in each 4 soup bowls, pour hot soup over bread adn sprinkle with parmasan cheese. Cover with mazzarella cheese and melt cheese under broiler, just before serving.
