    4 cups carrots, cut 2" lengths
    4 cups quartered red potatoes
    28 oz saurkraut, rinsed, drained
    2 1/2 lb fresh Polish sausage, cut 3" lengths
    1 medium thin sliced onion
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 1/2 cups chicken broth
    1 tsp pepper
    1/2 tsp carraway seeds

    Recipe



    Brown sausage, and set aside.
    Sautee onions with garlic powder and 2 tsp extra water in sausage drippings until tender.
    Mix all ingredients in a 5 quart slow cooker.
    Cover and cook 8 - 9 hours, until sausage is no longer pink.

    10 -12 servings
