    1 cup sugar, softened
    1/2 cup butter
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 (16 ounces) can chocolate syrup
    1 cup flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups powdered sugar
    1/2 cup butter
    3 tablespoons creme de menthe (green)
    1 (6 ounces) package chocolate chips
    6 tablespoons butter

    Recipe



    1. Heat oven to 350º.
    2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
    3. For the cake layer: add first 7 ingredients in your mixer and mix well.
    4. Pour into pan.
    5. Bake in oven for 30 minutes.
    6. Cool in pan.
    7. For the mint layer: add the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter and Crème de Menthe and mix until smooth.
    8. Spread over cake and refrigerate until it has hardened.
    9. For the icing layer: combine last two ingredients in a saucepan; heat and stir until melted.
    10. Remove cake from refrigerator and spread this over the top.
    11. Return pan back to the refrigerator and chill for 10 to 30 minutes more.
    12. Cut into squares.
