Dewy Lemon Salad
1 large pkg.lemon jello
2 cups hot water
2 cups Mountain Dew and pineapple juice, combined
1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip
1 12 ounce can pineapple tidbits
2 cups tiny marshmellows
1 can lemon pie filling (Wilderness)Recipe
Dissolve jello in hot water and add the juice from the pineapple and enough Mountain Dew to make the two cups of liquid. Chill until syruppy and then fold in the pineapple tidbits and marshmellows. Pour into a 9X13 glass dish and chill until firm.
Whip the cream or Cool Whip and fold in the lemon pie filling until thoroughly mixed and spread this on top of the set jello. Sprinkle with nut meats (optional). Chill well. This salad freezes well but it must be mixed together rather than made in layers.
