    1 lb. butter, softened
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    7 eggs
    7 tsps. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 - 7 cups flour

    Recipe



    In a large bowl mix sugar, baking powder, eggs, vanilla, and butter. Mix well with a spoon. Add 2 1/2 cups flour; mix well. Add ½ cup flour at a time and work dough with your hands as it thickens. When dough is thick enough to roll, roll out one half cup at a time into a rope. Slice rope into 1-2 inch cookies.

    Bake in a 350 oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Ice or decorate as desired.
