    SOUTHWEST SUMMER PORK CHOPS

    4 tsps. dried minced onion
    2 tsps. ground cumin
    1 tsps. cornstarch
    1 tsps. chili powder
    1 tsps. dried minced garlic
    1/2 tsps. dried oregano
    1/2 tsps. paprika
    6 bone-in pork loin chops
    1/4 cup barbecue sauce
    2 tbsps. lemon juice

    Recipe



    In a small bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients; rub over pork chops. Place pork chops in a large resealable plastic bag. In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce and lemon juice. Pour over pork chops. Gently rub bag to distribute sauce. Refrigerate 1-2 hours.

    If grilling the pork chops, coat the grill rack with nonstick cooking spray before starting the grill. Grill chops, covered, over medium heat or broil 6 inches from the heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until meat thermometer reads 160 degrees.
