    SWEET & SOUR SPARE RIBS

    List of Ingredients

    Pork Spare Ribs or Loin Back Ribs
    ½ cup brown sugar
    ½ cup sugar
    1 tbsp. cornstarch
    1 cup ketchup
    2/3 cup vinegar
    ½ cup cold water

    Recipe

    Requires 2 hours baking time.

    Place ribs on rack in a shallow pan. Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 1 ½ hours. Combine sugars and cornstarch in saucepan. Stir in ketchup, vinegar and water; bring to a boil. Cook and stir until thick and clear. Remove fat juices from pan and pour 1 ½ cups of sauce over ribs. Bake 30 minutes longer. Brush with remaining sauce and serve.
