    ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE

    List of Ingredients




    ½ cup onions, sliced
    2 tbsps. olive oil
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
    1 bay leaf
    2 (8oz.) cans seasoned tomato sauce
    1 cup water
    ¼ cup parsley
    1 ½ tsps. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    ¼ tsp. thyme

    Recipe



    Cook onion in hot oil til golden. Add meat and garlic, brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients; simmer uncovered for 2 – 2 ½ hours or until thick. Remove bay leaf.

    Serve sauce hot over cooked spaghetti noodles. Serve with parmesan/romano cheese.

    Makes 6 Servings.
