    Recipe Introduction

    If there were only one food to eat, I'd eat Pierogies!

    List of Ingredients

    Dough:
    4 cups flour
    2 eggs
    ½ cup sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 cup warm water


    Cooking Pot:
    8 – 12 cups water
    1 tsp. oil
    4 chicken bouillon

    Sauce:
    1 large onion, chopped
    ½ cup butter

    Filling your choice:
    sauerkraut
    potato and cheese
    potato and onion
    plumb
    meat


    Recipe

    Mix flour, eggs, sour cream, salt and water (a little at a time). Knead dough until firm and elastic; cover and let rest 10 minutes. Divide dough into 3 equal parts. On floured surface, roll dough to 1/8 inch thick; cut into 3 rounds with cutter. Place a small spoonful of filling in center of each round; fold and press edges together firmly and seal.

    Drop pierogi into simmering chicken bouillon with 1 tsp. oil. (Do Not Crowd). Simmer 15 minutes and drain. Saute pierogies in butter and onions. 7 Dozen
