    List of Ingredients


    • 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
    • 1 Small yellow onion, chopped
    • 2 Cup swiss cheese, shredded
    • 6 Slices lean bacon, cooked and crumbled
    • 2 Tbsp flour
    • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
    • 3 Large eggs
    • 1 Cup milk
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 400.
    2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the onion and saute 5 minutes or until soft, then transfer to medium bowl.
    3. Toss with the cheese, bacon and flour. Spread in the pie crust.
    4. In the same bowl, wisk the eggs with the milk, salt and nutmeg. Pour over the pie mixture and bake, uncovered, 35 minutes or until the center is set.
    5. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into wedges.
