    Moist Chocolate Cake

    List of Ingredients




    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    3/4 cup cocoa
    2 cups sugar
    1 cup oil
    1 cup hot coffee
    1 cup milk
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Icing:
    3/4 cup milk
    3 1/2 tablespoons flour
    1/2 cup shortening
    1/4 cup butter
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe



    Stir together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa, & sugar. Add oil, coffee & milk; mix at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add eggs & vanilla; beat 2 more minutes. Batter will be thin. Pour into 2 greased & floured 9" pans. Bake at 325 for 25-30 minutes. Cool cakes 15 minutes before removing from pan. Top with icing.

    For Icing: Cook milk & flour till it boils; constantly stirring. Let cool completely & add other ingredients & beat mixture about 5 minutes. Top cake with this & serve.
