Maple Walnut White Fudge
I made these for the first time a few years back at Christmas time with the in-laws. Everyone loved these & they disappeared quickly.
List of Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups miniature marshmallows
2 cups (12 oz.) white chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 teaspoons maple flavoring
about 50 walnut halves or piecesRecipe
Combine butter, evaporated milk, sugar & salt into a medium, heavy-duty saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly over medium heat. Boil & stir for 4 1/2 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, white chocolate chips, chopped walnuts & maple flavoring. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or till marshmallows are melted. Pour into foil lined 13x9" baking pan. Place nut halves in rows, spacing about 1/2" apart on top of fudge. Press slightly into fudge. Chill till firm. Cut into squares, making sure that there is 1 nut half per square. Makes about 50 pieces.
