    Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

    Ohhhh, my favorite combination. No matter what it is, peanut butter & chocolate always make a perfect pair.

    List of Ingredients




    2/3 cup shortening
    2/3 cup butter, softened
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup brown sugar, packed
    1 cup peanut butter
    2 eggs
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    3 1/2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 (12 oz.) package chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Preheat oven 375. Mix together shortening, butter, sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, eggs, & vanilla thoroughly. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet, forming small balls about 1 1/2" apart. Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to foil or waxed paper to cool completely. Makes about 60 cookies.
