    List of Ingredients




    2 sleeves Ritz crackers
    3 or 4 chicken breasts, boiled, cooled and removed from bones and shredded.
    1 (8oz) sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 stick butter

    Recipe



    Melt butter, mix 1/2 with one sleeve of the crushed crackers. Spread in bottom of 9 x 13 glass casserole dish. Spread chicken on crackers, you might have to use your hands to keep from messing up the cracker layer. Mix sour cream, soup , salt and pepper and some of the chicken broth together (don't make it too liquidy - about 1 cup or so). Spread this on the chicken. Mix the other half of butter with the other sleeve of crushed crackers.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 min or until crackers are a golden brown.

    You can add water chestnuts to this if you want. I love them, but my husband doesn't. You could also add onions and it would still be good!
