    List of Ingredients


    • 1-2 BUNCH BROCCOLI
    • 1 QT CHICKEN STOCK
    • 2 CUP HEAVY CREAM
    • 1/2 TSP NUTMEG
    • 1/2 CUP CHEDDAR
    • 1/4 CUP FLOUR
    • 1/4 CUP BUTTER
    • SALT
    • PEPPER


    Instructions


    1. BOIL BROCCOLI IN CHICKEN UNTIL TENDER, UNDERCOOK IF NECESSARY. REMOVE FROM HEAT.
    2. PREPARE ROUX. MELT BUTTER THEN STIR IN FLOUR.
    3. ADD CHICKEN STOCK WITH BROCCOLI TO ROUX. BRING TO A BOIL.
    4. STIR IN CHEDDAR. WHEN MELTED ADD IN HEAVY CREAM AND NUTMEG. BING TO A BOIL, STIRRING. REMOVE FROM HEAT. SEASON AND SERVE
