    Recipe Introduction


    This was another one of my mother's favorites. I use to tell her to make me this instead of a cake for my birthday.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 Cups Milk
    • 1 Cup Sugar
    • 1/3 Cup Flour
    • 1/8 Teaspoon Salt
    • 2 Taplespoon Cocoa
    • 3 Eggs
    • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    • 2 Pie Shells
    • Meringue; 2 Tablespoon Saugar for each egg white and and a dash of salt and a dash of vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Mix well Cocoa, sugar salt and flour.
    2. Add egg yolks and milk
    3. Add vanilla
    4. Cook until thick.
    5. Pour into pie shells and cook at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
    6. Then take out out do your meringue and place it into oven watch it close it does not take long to brown.


    Final Comments


    When making meringue you have to really whip it fast and it takes a while and make sure you don't get any yellow of the egg in it because Mama said then it will not whip up like it is suppose to.
