    Spicy Apricots

    From "Friends of the Library" cookbook, 1996.

    1 large can apricots (about 28 oz or so)
    1/4 cup honey
    2 Tbs vinegar
    1 cinnamon stick
    2 whole cloves

    Drain apricots, and reserve 1/2 cup syrup. Combine honey, vinegar, and spices with reserved syrup in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and pour over apricots in a bowl.

    Chill for several hours and serve as an accompaniment to ham, pork, or chicken dishes.
