    Cinnamon Chocolate Cake

    List of Ingredients

    • 2 C. all-purpose flour, unbleached
    • 2 C. super fine sugar
    • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp. sea salt
    • 1 C. water
    • 1/2 C. vegetable oil
    • 1/2 C. butter, unsalted
    • 1/4 C. cocoa
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1/2 C. buttermilk
    • 1 tsp. pure vanilla
    • 1 tsp. baking soda


    1. Mix together flour, sugar, cinnamon and sea salt. In a pan combine water, oil, butter and cocoa. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Combine eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and baking soda. Pour into chocolate mixture slowly. Mix well. Pour into a lightly greased 10x13 inch pan and bake until cake pick tests done. Frost while warm with Cinnamon Chocolate Frosting.
