    2 Tablespoons Olive or Salad oil
    1 Small Onion, Chopped
    1 Garlic Clove Minced
    1 Tablespoon Sugar
    2 Teaspoons Fresh or Dried Basil(fresh is better)
    1 Tespoon Salt
    14 1/2- To 16-ounce Can Tomatoes
    1 6-ounce can Tomato Paste

    Recipe



    1. In 2 Quart Sauce Pan Over Medium-Low Heat,
    In Hot Oil, Cook Onion And Garlic Until Tender.

    2. Stir In Sugar, Basil, Salt, Tomatoes With Their Liquid,
    And Tomato paste; Heat Mixture To Boiling, Stirring To BreaK Up Tomatoes. Reduce Heat To Low; Cover saucepan And Simmer 20 Minutes To Blend Flavors, Stirring Occasionally.





    It's About 95 Calories Per Serving Without Pasta.
    A Good Source Of Vitamin A, And Is Low In Cholesterol.
