    List of Ingredients


    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 2 large cloves garlic, crushed
    • 2 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
    • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
    • 1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper sauce ( I use more)
    • 2 6 1/2 cans minced clams, drained
    • 2 6 oz cans lump crabmeat, drained
    • chopped fresh parsley


    Instructions


    1. In a 2 quart saucepan over medium-high heat, heat oil; Add garlic.
      Cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring frequently until tender.
    2. Remove from heat, leaving garlic in pan, drain off oil.
    3. To pan add cream cheese, cheddar, mayonnaise, lemon juice and hot pepper sauce.
    4. Cook over low heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring constantly until blended and heated through.
    5. Add clams and crabmeat cook 1 to 2 minutes. Spoon into serving dish, sprinkle with parsley.


    Final Comments


    Serve with crackers or fresh veggies
