    Recipe Introduction

The Best Memories of my Previous Marraige are soley related to Grandma Willi's Warmth, Love and the Best Home Cooking ever! One of my favorite times spent with her was enjoying her Ginger Tea. This is not Grandma's recipe unfortunately but it is added in Honor of the Greatest Women I have ever known.

    List of Ingredients

    • 4 Cups water
    • 2 inch piece of fresh Ginger root.
    • Optional: Honey and Lemon slice

    Instructions

    1. Peel Ginger root and slice it into thin slices.
    2. Bring water to a boil in a sauce pan, then add Ginger.
    3. Cover pan and reduce heat to a simmer, simmer for 15-20 minutes.
    4. Strain the tea. Add Honey and Lemon to taste.

    Final Comments

Keep in mind that if you are making Ginger Tea as a home remedy during Cold and Flu season, sweeteners are not recommended.
