    Paradise Cake

    Source of Recipe

    Unkwn/ while stationed in Spain.

    List of Ingredients

    1 Box yellow cake mix
    1 can 20oz. crushed pineapple
    1 cup sugar
    1 Lg. box vanilla instant pudding
    1 Lg. tub of cool whip
    1 cup shreded coconut
    1 cup nuts (your choice: walnut, pecan, etc...)

    Recipe

    Bake cake according to package directions. about 10 minutes before cake is done baking, combine the sugar and canned pineapple in a pan and cook until boils. Pour immediately over cake when removed from oven. Let cool completely. Make pudding according to package directions.Top cooled cake with pudding mixture then top with cool whip. Next sprinkle with coconut then nuts. Keep refrigerated.

    Note: Some people like to poke holes in cake with toothpick before pouring hot pineapple mixture over it.

    Also: I mix coconut and nuts together in bowl or baggie and then sprinkle on top of cake. One less step.
