    Recipe Introduction


    I do not remember who gave me this recipe. I have been making it for years. I have found many similar recipes and some with varying igredients. There is a vast amount of web resources for cooking and recipes so go have fun with it.


    List of Ingredients


    • 10 oz package of frozen peas.
    • 6 slices of bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled.
    • 1 cup of peanuts. (I buy unsalted, not roasted, peanuts)
    • 1 cup celery, diced
    • 1/4 cup diced onion
    • 1/2 cup mayonaise. (I prefer Helmans)
    • 1/4 cup Zesty Italian Dressing


    Instructions


    1. Thaw peas, mix with celery, onion and bacon.
    2. Whisk Mayonaise and zesty italian dressing together stir into salad mixture. Chill
    3. Mix in Peanuts just before serving.


    Final Comments


    This is a great summer salad but can be served year round.
