    Lemon Refrigerator Dessert

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 box Vanilla Wafers - crushed
    • 1 cup Bordens Eagle Brand Milk (* 2 cups - to double)
    • 2 Egg Yolks (* 4 - to double)
    • Juice of 2 Lemons (*1/4 cup - to double)
    • Whipped Cream to cover


    Instructions


    1. Put first layer of crushed Vanilla Wafers crumbs in pan

    2. Put Milk, Egg Yolks & Lemon Juice in bowl and beat slowly until
      thick

    3. Pour mixture over crumbs

    4. Put another layer of Vanilla Wafer crumbs

    5. Top with a layer of whipped cream

    6. Refrigerate



    Final Comments


    Filling will be thin. It will thicken as is cools in refrigerator.
