    Rum Balls #2

    Makes about 4 dozen.


    List of Ingredients


    • 6 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1/3 cup rum
    • 3 tablespoons corn syrup
    • 44 crushed vanilla wafers
    • 1 cup ground walnuts
    • additional granulated sugar


    Instructions


    1. In a saucepan, melt the chocolate chips over low heat.
    2. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, rum, and corn syrup.
    3. Fold in the vanilla wafers and the walnuts.
    4. Shape mixture into 1 inch balls using 2 teaspoons for each.
    5. Roll in additional sugar.
    6. Store in airtight container for several days.
