    Recipe Introduction


    Kugel is not just for Rosh Hashanah - this is a great side dish for a pot roast any day!


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups dried medium egg noodles.
    • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (soft)
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 cup cottage cheese (NOT low fat)
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp white pepper


    Instructions


    1. Preheat the oven to 350.
    2. Cook the noodles in a large saucepan of boiling salted water until tender.
    3. Drain the noodles in a colander and toss with the butter in a bowl.
    4. While the noodles are cooking whisk together eggs, cottage cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
    5. Stir in the buttered noodles.
    6. Transfer to a buttered deep 1 qt baking dish and bake in the middle of the oven until firm - 45min to 1 hour.
