    4 c. sliced apple
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. diluted orange juice
    1/3 c. chopped dates
    2 Tbs. Arrow root or cornstarch
    2 tsp. Grated orange rind (opt)

    Recipe



    Cook all the ingredients (except cornstarch) until apples are tender. Moisten the cornstarch with 2 or more Tbs. of water and add to the hot fruit and stir gently. Cook the mixture over low heat until glaze is clear. Pour into a baked coconut or gram crust. Sprinkle pie with coconut.
    For 13x 9x2 dish- triple recipe, except raisins, just double them.
