List of Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 teaspoon organo
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup onion , finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1 egg , slightly beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 small brown and serve French bread loaves
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1-3 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic
Instructions
- Slice off tops of French bread loaves and hollow out until only a thick shell remains.
- Reserve bread crumbs and combine with beaten egg, mustard and spices.
- Brown ground beef and drain.
- Combine with onion, water and bread crumb mixture.
Mix thoroughly.
- Melt butter and add garlic.
- Place on cookie sheet and bake in 400* oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serves 6 as a main dish, or may be sliced thin and served as an appetizer.
