    Green Beans with Fresh Dill

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 lbs fresh green beans, cut and cooked
    • 2 TBS butter or margarine
    • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 2 tsp fresh dill, chopped
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper


    Instructions


    1. Place the green beans in a serving dish.

    2. HEAT the butter or margarine in skillet and SAUTÉ the onion until tender.

    3. STIR IN the cream, fresh dill, lemon juice, salt and pepper.

    4. SIMMER slowly until the sauce begins to thicken.

    5. SPOON the sauce over the green beans and serve.
