    Evelyn's Butter Balls

    This is a recipe passed down to me from my aunt Evelyn. wonderful for in a party tray.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup butter
    • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
    • 21/4 cup sifted flour
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 3/4 cup chopped nuts


    Instructions


    1. Sift flour. Add sifted sugar,salt,vanilla and butter. Blend until smooth. Add nuts.
    2. Form into 1" balls with a teaspoon as a measurement.
      Bake 14-17 minutes at 400.
    3. While hot from oven,roll in powdered sugar. Cool on rack and roll in sugar again.
    4. Store in covered container.
