    Margaret's Caramel Corn

    Everytime my son,David and I went to my aunt Margies's house, we hoped she would have some caramel corn. One day, David asked her for the recipe and this is it. Enjoy!!


    List of Ingredients


    • 8 quarts popped corn. (About 3-4 poppers full)
    • 2 stick oleo
    • 2 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    • 1/2 cup white Karo
    • 1 tsp.vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Melt butter over low heat. Add sugar,Karo and stir. Add soda and cook til bubbly.
    2. Pour syrup over corn and stir well. Pour onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 250 for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. You may have to bake a little longer, until the corn is nice and crispy.
    3. Cool on waxed paper. Store in covered container.
