    List of Ingredients




    1 1/3~cup Reg uncooked white rice
    2 2/3~cup water
    1/4~cup cornstarch
    2~tablespoon flour
    1~teaspoon sugar
    1/4~teaspoon baking soda
    3~tablespoon water
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2~pound Pork loin, bnls, 2x1/2x1/4 inch pieces
    3~tablespoon brown sugar
    2~tablespoon cornstarch
    1/2~teaspoon Chicken bouillon
    1/2~cup water
    3~tablespoon rice vinegar
    2~tablespoon ketchup
    2~teaspoon soy sauce
    10~oz can pineapple chunks, drained, reserve liquid
    1 garlic clove, pressed
    1 green bell pepper, in 3/4 inch pieces

    Recipe



    Cook rice in 2 2/3 cup water.
    In med bowl, combine 1/4 cup cornstarch, four, sugar, baking soda, 3 tbsp water & egg; mix well.
    Add prok; stir until well coated.
    In deep ryer, heavy saucepan or wok, heat 2-3 inches oil to 375.
    Fry coated pork ieces, 1/4 of total amount at a time, for 2-3 min or until golden brown and no longer
    pink in centre, turning once.
    Drain on paper towels.
    In small saucepan, combine brown sugar, 2 tbsp cornstarch, bouillon, 1/2 cup water, vinegar,
    ketchup, soy sauce and 3 tbsp reserved pineapple liquid; blend well.
    Cook over med-high heat until bubbly and thickened, stirring constantly. Keep warm.
    Heat 1 tsp oil in lg skillet or wok until hot.
    Add garlic and bell pepper; cook and stir 2-3 min or utnil bell pepper is CT. Stir in pineapple
    chunks, pork and sauce.
