    Teriyaki Stir-fry

    Source of Recipe

    Campbell's Canada

    Recipe Introduction

This recipe works equally well with beef or pork; I imagine chicken as well!

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 lb boneless beef sirloin rilling steak, cut in thin strips
    • 1 1/4 cup beef broth
    • 2 tbsp cornstarch
    • 1 tbsp soya sauce
    • 1 tbsp packed brown sugar
    • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
    • 2-3 cups fresh or frozen veggies
    • 4 cups hot cooked rice

    Instructions

    1. Heat large, non-stick skillet, lightly coated with vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Cook beef 10 minutes or until browned. Set beef aside.
    2. Stir in misture of broth, cornstarch, soya sauce, brown sugar and garlic powder. Heat to a boil, stirring often. Return beef to skillet. Reduce heat, simmer 5 minutes.
    3. Stir in veggies. Simmer, covered, until beef and veggies are cooked through--about 5 minutes, stirring occassionaly. Serve over rice.
