    List of Ingredients




    2 large cloves garlic, minced

    2 1/4 cups (6 ounces) sliced button or shiitake mushrooms

    5 cups (1 pound) broccoli florets, separated, stems peeled and chopped

    2 (14-ounce) cans stewed tomatoes

    1 tablespoon dried oregano

    1 to 2 tablespoons curry powder, to taste

    2 tablespoons cornstarch

    2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Jarlsberg lite cheese

    4 cups (6 ounces dry) cooked "short" pasta such as tricolor radiotore, fusilli or small shells

    1 (7-ounce) can tuna in water, drained

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    In an oil-sprayed non-stick skillet, sautŽ garlic until golden. Add mushrooms and continue to sautŽ until they begin to give off juice, about 3 minutes.

    Add broccoli. Pour on 1/4 cup water. Cover tightly and steam 4 minutes. Remove, with any juices, to a bowl. Stir together stewed tomatoes, oregano, curry powder, cornstarch and Jarlsberg. Mix well.

    In a 2 1/2 to 3-quart baking dish, layer pasta, tuna, vegetable and cheese mixture twice, ending with cheese mixture.

    Tent with foil, not touching food and sealing edges. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serves 4 to 6.
