    This is a recipe that my Japanese GF, "J.P.", made for our family once. AWESOME!

    List of Ingredients




    1# lean ground beef ground fine
    1 pkg wonton wraps
    3 small onions - minced
    1-2 T butter
    2 cloves garlic - minced
    2 pieces ginger root - thin Quarter sized slices
    2 small eggs - seperated saving both yolks & whites
    6 whole green cabbage leaves
    1 t seasame oil
    2 T Kikomon Soy Sauce
    1 T Sake (opt)
    salt & pepper to taste
    corn oil for frying - changed frequently during frying

    Recipe



    Directions:
    Combine: Ground beef, garlic ginger, egg yolks, sesame oil, soy sauce, sake, salt & pepper.

    Boil: whole cabbage leves until tender - mince, add to beef mixture.

    Sautee: chopped onions over low heat in butter until onions are clear and slightly browned.
    Cool and add to beef mixture.

    Assembly:

    Place 1 teaspoon in center of wonton wrapper
    Stick corners of wonton together with egg whites and form a triangle. And set asdie ina single layer on a oil sprayed platter.

    **DO NOT stack them as the noodles will stick to one another.

    Fry in hot corn oil, turn over when browned.
    Change oil often.
