    Crockpot Sweet Potatoes & Cranberries With Toasted Pecans
    I love the idea of combining these two holiday favorites. I have not made this yet but it contains all the yummy things I look for in a side dish. Why not throw then together?! See my recipe that has all these ingredients & chicken too!

    List of Ingredients





    3 sweet potatoes, uncooked, peel, and dice
    1 cup cranberries, fresh (defrosted) or frozen cranberries (defrosted)
    1 apple, peeled & diced
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    1/3 cup orange juice
    1/2 cup pecans, toasted (optional)

    Recipe



    12 servings
    time to make: 6½ hours 20 min prep

    1. Combine all ingredients.
    2. Toast pecans in the oven or dry skillet, set aside. Careful not to burn!
    3. Cook for 6 - 8 hours, until the yams are tender.
    4. Put in your favorite serving dish and top with pecans for serving.
