    Hot Ginger Coffee
    Serves: 6

    6 T. ground coffee (not instant)
    1 T. grated orange peel
    1 T. chopped crystallized or candied ginger
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    6 c. cold water
    Light whipped topping, optional

    Combine the first 4 ingredients; pour into a coffee filter. Add water to coffeemaker and brew according to manufacturer's directions. Pour into mugs, garnish with whipped topping if desired.

    1-cup (calculated w/o whipped topping)equals: 5 calories...trace fat...0 cholesterol...5 mg sodium...1 gm carbohydrate...trace protein.
